[LM_NET] Books that Celebrate Diversity

Hi Netters,

 

We started with students today, it is always amazing to me how much I
enjoy my work.  So the theme this year at our school is "Celebrate
Diversity."  And of course I am looking for great books to support this
idea.  Books that seem to fit are "The Big Orange Splot" and "Wilfred,
Gordon, McDonald Partridge."   I will include books such as the
"Sneetches," but I am looking more for a celebration of diversity and
not a discussion of discrimination.  So... as always your ideas are
greatly appreciated.
