[LM_NET] TECH: Digital voice recorders for podcasting

I am interested in purchasing digital voice recorders for podcasting.
Students would use the digital voice recorders for interviews and then
we would use the digital files in podcasts.  We have PC computers.  I am
considering the Olympus digital voice recorders but there are so many
different models.  I don't know what to purchase.  Does anyone with
experience in using digital voice recorders for podcasting have any
suggestions?  Thank you.
