Hi,
I am currently working on putting together a resource index for the third grade
teachers at my school. The class will be divided into 3 to 4 groups depending on
the amount of information received back. Each group will do research, compile and
complete an assignment like powerpoint, a mock interview with a NASA scientist and
tape the interview. The third project depends on what type of information I get
back. Hopefully some creative projects to reconstruct the phases of the moon or the
solar system. This project will span over 3 weeks and is intended to spill over
during the library time plus computer lab time. We are looking for website, books
or ideas relating to the solar system topic. The teachers are wanting to take their
learning experience to the next level while intergrating a variety of multi media
projects. Thank you for your help.
