I work in a new school - we aren't actually in the building yet as there have been
construction delays - but we'll be moved in in October. Our school mascot is a lion
cub, and our school motto is "pride." Our principal has asked all classroom
teachers to do a project with their students about lions, specifically lion cubs.
The end result needs to be something the teachers can display at our open house:
something visual.
So - I'm looking for any and all projects you can think of suitable for elementary
school that have to do with lions. The project does not have to use the media
center - in fact, it might be simpler if it didn't. Poetry, art, crafty type things
are what I'm looking for. Book tie-ins would be great, although our access to
library resources is limited.
I know you all will come up with something great!
