[LM_NET] GEN: Most Interesting Thing This Summer

This summer, like several past summers I attended NECC. What was different
this year was my followup to NECC. I was "elected" communications chair for
the SIGMS (special interest group media specialists). After the conference I
worked collaboratively with the other SIGMS board on a big project. (ISTE
members, watch for announcement!) We used our wiki site as well as email.  I
had used wikis with student and teachers but had not really used one myself
in a collaborative project. Doing so now I learned more about how they work
and what tips to pass on to others.

AND of course I read the 7th Harry Potter. Right now I am reading parts of
the other 6 reviewing all the bread crumbs Rowling left in the earlier books
to forshadow what would happen in 7.
