I searched the Reference / Statistics section of the Virtual Learning Resources
Center, http://www.virtuallrc.com ,
for the terms 'immigration +statistics' and, after a little further looking around,
found this page on the U.S. Census Burea website:
(http://www.census.gov/compendia/statab/population/immigration/)Population:
Immigration. There are several files that you could download,
but "Immigration: 1901 to 2005 [Excel 32k]" sounds like what you need.
