Hi all,
Our district is in the very early stages of writing a three year library
plan to go along with new state standards. I am going to be presenting to
several principles in my district about creating a committee and a plan
for writing our plan. It will include information about collection
development and curriculum. We have no written library curriculum and I am
very excited to actually have the opportunity to get one in writing, but
am feeling overwhelmed by the size of this project. If anyone has such a
plan or any insight they might want to share, it would be much
appreciated. I have written plans for public libraries, but never a school
library. I cover 10 schools K-8, but this might also include the HS.
Thank you.
