I am putting together an activity for procedural writing. I am looking for picture
books that have some sort of "procedure" within the story. Books like Stone soup,
Make an apple pie and see the world, and maybe (I'll need to reread it) The
doorbell rang.
The procedure doesn't have to involve food. Can you think of other titles? I could
also use some simple how-to books, especially if they only have one procedure. (So,
How to draw animals wouldn't be as good as How to draw a panda bear. But I will
welcome all suggestions.
Thanks!
