Hi Everyone:
Our school district has started an "Education Foundation" and one of their goals is
to provide grants to teachers. They just announced that each of our four schools
will be awarded 2 $500 grants! Does anyone have any new and/or exciting things in
your library that you could share? I'm looking for ideas of things I might apply
for with this grant.
Some things they are looking for in the application are: "innovative in nature",
"education materials and supplies...printing expenses...periodical or internet
subscriptions (definitely a possibility however I wouldn't be able to rely on that
money to get something above my budget every year)...field trips"; requests should
be "outside the normal budget or planning considerations"; "integration of new
technologies" (another definite possibility). Any ideas????
Thanks for your help!
Susan
