I'm meeting tomorrow with our health teachers to plan a research
assignment on drugs. The students will be working in groups of 4, and
so they want the research to have 4 different focus areas or distinct
roles, one for each student in the group.
The kids will be doing presentations (no papers) and we're looking for
creative approaches to this - how can we create an assignment that
requires some critical thinking and that's difficult to plagiarize?
I'm thinking along the lines of presenting in the voice of a drug user
or the drug itself, or creating a dramatic interpretation related to
the drug. One of the teachers is kind of old school, however, so I'll
need to sell him on the idea.
Has anyone done a successful assignment like this? Can you share? If I
have some success stories, it might help me out!
Thanks!
