Original Target:
Does anyone have the "Adventures of Benny and Watch, Boxcar Children
Early Readers?" Are they popular with your students?
Responses generally were that those who had the books found that they only were
checked out well with specific promotion. One response was that they were popular
with first graders when promoted as transitional to the Boxcar Children chapter
books. Another said that the second graders really only wanted the chapter books.
I think I'll skip this set in favor of some other series.
