Hi,
A couple of hours ago I posted a TARGET for middle school acceptable use
policies. Of course, since this listserv is so wonderful, within hours I received
quite a few responses.
I should have explained that I am specifically looking for wording regarding
vandalism of computer equipment. We are having problems with students rearranging
keys on laptops, damaging screens, removing keys, etc. They've also managed to
break almost all 15 of our cd rom drives in the library desktop computers.
So, besides needing an AUP for our 6-8th graders, we really need it to address
how to properly take care of our technology equipment and penalties for
intentionally causing damage. If your school's AUP covers this, please forward it
to me.
And as always, thanks for your help and support !
Diane
