[LM_NET] Reading Night Readers

Our school is having a professional baseball player kick off family reading
night in our K-5 school.   Does anyone have a great picture book read a loud
that I can suggest he read to the entire audience?  Any other suggestions
for read a louds that would appeal to all grade levels?  Our number one
complaint last year was that the books (not my choices) were not interesting
enough for families who attended with K and middle grade children.
