* I posted this Sunday 9/30, but accidently left my email off. Sorry!
I know there was some talk awhile ago about teaching different styles in the
high school level, but I think my question is a tad bit different.
I am teaching an elective semester Psychology class (grades 10-12). We will
soon begin a research assignment. Our high school teaches MLA citation
format in the English classes and the other subjects use it as well.
Here are my questions: Is it enough to mention there is an APA style
citation used in Psychology and then review MLA and have them to use MLA for
their assignment? or Should I teach the APA style since that is what is used
in Psychology?
Personally, I think the first is best option, but I do not want to
disservice the field of Psychology. I am curious as to what others think.
I will post a hit.
Thank you,
