teachers are looking for a historical fiction book to read as a class. They
currently read Number the Stars. The students will read The Diary of Anne Frank in
7th grade, so that book is not an option. They are thinking about The Boy in the
Striped Pajamas but are worried that might be too much for 5th graders. The book
does not have to be about the Holocaust, but they are leaning towards something to
compliment Number the Stars. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you so much!
