I am a lurker...not a librarian, but I work in a computer lab/ tutoring center.
I don't know how many of us are out here who send these posts to their own
folder, skip lots, and get to know about current controversies,research strategies,
computer viruses, and oh, countless other information issues from a group rather
prone to doing valid research on topics :-) I *love* a list that isn't dumping
attachments in my box, has generally good subject headings and "hits," etc. I
have had to learn to keep my hands away from the keyboard when behaviors on other
lists don't match LM_NET - it's an unreasonably high standard :)
