[LM_NET] TARGET: Book Title Needed.....begins "I quit!"

I am hoping someone knows the title of this book.

It begins with the words "I quit."  A young boy is in a race.  He talks about the 
other boys and everybody wanting to win the race and be in first place.  As the 
story continues, the little boy stumbles and falls three times.  He finally crosses 
the finish line last and everyone cheers him on because he hung in there and never 
gave up.  Cute story.  Any ideas as to the title?
