I would like to do a Read Around the World reading theme next year. I
am reading and researching and am getting excited. But I have this
little problem with follow through. In the past, I have started a theme
but it has fizzled by mid year. Kids/teachers didn't even know I had a
them. I am ready to do an excellent job, but I would like to find an
"Accountability Partner." LM_Net is such a large group, I am hoping I
can find one person out there who would like to do the same theme and
correspond with me, sharing ideas, lessons, ideas, successes, etc. for
the 2007-2008 school year. If there is more than one person who would
like to do this, we could set up a group to keep each other enthused
about the theme, keep researching, sharing, etc.

For example, I lately discovered Gennady Spirin and am so into him! I
can't find any lessons/illustrator studies on him on the web. An
Accountability Partner would keep him and mind and if she/he found info
on this illustrator, would pass it along. Another example: I want to
do displays and am terrible at them. An Accountability Partner would
email me to make sure I am fulfilling my own goal, giving me
encouragement and not letting me slack off. And vice versa. If you
are into 2.0, we could set up a blog or wiki to share/correspond.

If you are interested, please reply! Thank you~
