I have recently purchased an HP laptop with windows VISTA premium home version. So
far everything works very well. Vista is different and takes a little getting used
to - but so far I am managing quite well. However - whenever or wherever I go to
make an online purchase the keyboard willl not allow me to type anything into the
credit card box. I can fill out every other part of the online purchase form - but
it will not allow me to type in the credit card box at all. Weird. It does not
matter what site I go to. I CAN make purchases at iTunes and at Amazon - but that
is because I have accounts set up there already.

I contacted HP online chat. The tech there told me that I should uninstall my
keyboard drivers and reboot the machine. I am afraid to do that - especially since
their are 2 keyboard drivers. I am not sure if I should delete one or both. When
I asked how the keyboard would work at all if I uninstalled the drivers - he said
they would automatically work when I rebooted. Doesn't sound logical to me. Also
- the fact that the keyboard works for all other uses (including keying in other
information into online order forms), makes me think that there is something else
going on here. Perhaps a security setting that needs to be changed? Perhaps it is
because my laptop is connected to the internet via a wireless router? I don't
think my desktop machine is connected to the wireless router, and I AM able to make
purchases using that machine.

I am puzzled. Can anyone help?
