I'm working on an article about celebrating winter holidays in the
library. I've got a host of ideas from you all for ways to be
multi-cultural/traditional/religious so that everyone feels honored
and included--from honoring each tradition to tossing the holidays
and focusing on the season. But I also want to recommend a list of
picture books (or picture book-length nonfiction).

So, would those of you who care to recommend a couple of your
favorite winter/holiday books? Keep in mind that I'm including
Christmas but REALLY wanting to go far beyond it.

I'm looking for:

Winter Solstice
Divali
St. Nicholas Day
Kwanzaa
Chinese New Year
Hanukkah
Christmas

Thanks!
Toni
