[LM_NET] Author Visit: Neal Shusterman

This week, we hosted a very successful author visit by Neal Shusterman.  
Each presentation was one hour of wonderful storytelling: from his books, 
his life, and his career as a writer. His format is completely interactive 
and driven by questions from the audience.
The students and teachers found him very engaging and inspiring.  He had a 
remarkable connection to the Grade 6-8 age group and was very good at 
adapting his presentation to the audience at hand. Even though he spoke for 
a full hour, many teachers commented that it could have been longer!

Since his presentation, students have been pouring into the library to check 
out and/or buy many of his books.  This is exactly the outcome we hope for 
with any author visit.
