I am asking this question, mainly because I have only used one program and
have really no experience with any other program.
Our program allows users to modify the reports, such as the overdue notice.
Some people want the price to show, some peope don't. Some want the
homeroom, some want something else.
I was helping someone today with how to make the overdue notice "report"
show price of the item instead of fines since we are not allow to charge
fines. I shared this information with the group. Another person responded
that we shouldn't have to do this, that the program shouldn't need any
editing.
So I am curious, to what extent does your library program allow customizing
or editing, especially with things like overdue notices?
