[LM_NET] OT-Travel to Lake Placid

My husband and I are planning a trip to Lake Placid in July.  Anybody
have any suggestions, places to stay or eat or things to do?  We will be
there for 4 days, our main thrust is to see and be in the mountains.
Even though we live in Illinois now we are both originally from Ohio and
miss terribly the hills and mountains of the eastern US.
