Hi, LM_Net Folks:My school district is planning to build a new high school on the
site ofthe present one, beginning with demolishing the Lib. MediaCtr./Library where
I am the Lib. Media Teacher. The plan is to move meand the library to a portable,
with the books on one end and a computerlab for 36 on the other. Any
advice...things that need to be considered fora portable to be used in this
way....etc.? Has anyone experiencedanything remotely like this? This almost fits
under "HUMOR"....Besides establishing the library/computer lab physically in a
portable,I'm concerned about maintaining a viable library/media center for
thestudents. (We have approximately 1350 students, and I am used to havingtwo
classes in the LMC at one time.)Thanks for any advice! I can compile a HIT if I
receive enough serious--or humorous--advice!Elaine Olsen Shelburne, Library Media
