Hi. I just checked the archives and there was little to be found... Other years I
have just read a story with an Asian theme or an Asian folktale, but I'd like to do
something a little more substantial this year. Black History Month is easier for
younger kids (1st/2nd grade) b/c you can focus on a person's achievements (MLK,
Rosa Parks, Ruby, etc.) but I am sort of stuck for ideas with this theme. Any
ideas? Any books, lesson plan ideas, suggestions are welcome. I'll post a hit if
there's a response. Thanks, Bettina
