[LM_NET] MARC record for "Playaways" / Copyright question

I have some questions for the group.

1.  Are MARC records copyrighted?  In other words, if another school library
has a MARC record of a library item, can they send me an email with an
attached MARCH record?

2.  If MARC records aren't copyrighted, then I must ask if anyone has MARC
records for the new "Playaway" digital audio books from Recorded Books?  I
recently purchased 10 of them and need to get them cataloged.  I am TERRIBLE
at hand cataloging.   I am mostly concerned about getting the tags correct.
I participate in our State's interlibrary loan program and my hand cataloged
items always get rejected by Auto-Graphics!
