I have a book in my collection entitled Wings of a Dove by Beverly
Bush. The book's cover, title page, and inside cataloging
information list the author's name as Beverly Bush. The MARC record
came in with the main entry as Smith, Beverly Bush. Currently, the
book has a spine label that says FIC SMI, but the cover clearly says
by Beverly Bush. This is confusing to our students. The book is
found catalogued both ways in our union catalog. Question: What
would you do? Change the label and main entry to Bush or leave it
alone?
Thanks!
