I am in need of your collective wisdom. I am trying to dredge up from my
memory [always a scary thing] a classroom study that was done in the
1960-1970's. In it, the teacher designated half of the students as the
'elite' and the others not. I remember that it created quite a stir,
and was used by psychologists etc. to determine the 'pack' mentality.
