Good morning,

I received one flame from a person in past leadership of the Texas Librarians 
association, regarding my email about the American Sociological Association 
statement regarding the use of Native imagery in sports programs.

But I also received a request for the link, directly, from someone whose school's 
internet security system blocks access to blogs.

Teachers have written to me, asking for my help in describing why my blog should be 
available at their schools. Some schools have forms to fill out to process these 
requests. I am willing to help others with that form. Let me know.

Here is the direct link to the American Sociological Association statement on 
mascots. If it takes you to their site but not the statement, enter "mascots" in 
their search box. When I did that, it was the first hit returned in the search.
