Hello
Thank you for the responses I received. I still am not sure if the technology
exist to go without a large tower, so if anyone knows that information or has other
comments, please let me know. Here is my original post and my responses.

Thank you for any information or opinions!
I will post a hit of any responses.
The first thought that comes to my mind is why won't they function if
moved? If they are that delicate then they probably aren't working now.
I realize that what some people think is gentle handling is quite rough
to others, but I would think that if your towers are CAREFULLY (and I
emphasize CAREFULLY) moved they ought to be just fine.
That said, they ARE 15 years old, and perhaps it is time to replace
them. You might want to contact Checkpoint and see what they offer now.
I don't blame you for not wanting to switch to another security method.
You've already invested a lot of time and money in the RF tags, and you
ought to stick with that technology unless you absolutely have to switch
to something else.
If you get any answers to this could you please post a hit? I had my
carpets redone this past summer and my Checkpoint has not worked
correctly since. Their technicians came and re-installed them but they
are still not right. They told me I could get a discount on their newer
model, but I don't have the money right now to do that.
Check with your CheckPoint sales representative about a smaller antenna
- be sure you specify what frequency tags you are currently using.
If your tags and antenna don't match frequency, it won't matter what
security system you have.
We had to purchase a second set of security antenna due to construction
and the use of another door. Since this was necessitated by
construction, the Board of Education was persuaded to pay the cost - it
wouldn't hurt you and your Principal to try the same approach. The
total price was $5040 ($4500 for the single aisle antenna system and
$400 for the installation and $140 for shipping).
