[LM_NET] ELEM: NY book setting

Our entering 4th grade summer reading program asks students to read a book set in 
New York State.  Book on my list include:
The Big Rock by Hiscock
Busybody Nora by Hurwitz
The Runaway Racehorse by Roy
You Wouldn't want to be A Mammoth Hunter by Malam
Jackie and Me by Gutman
Molly Moon's Incredible Book of Hypnotism.
 
I need one more title that will appeal to many kids. Lower level is fine. It can be 
fiction or non-fiction. Any ideas for a popular book set in NY state?
