Hi, this is Pia Alliende. I would like to TARGET: Public Library linked
to School Libraries.
In my area (Central Oregon) the public library is developing a project
to link their collection to school libraries (around 40 schools from
three different school districts) Students and faculty in those schools
would be able to receive and drop off public library materials at their
own schools. I am the representative of my school district in this
project. I would like to know if any of you participate in a project of
this nature with your public library (or if you know someone who does)
and how does it work, benefits, challenges, etc.
If people will respond to me, I'll compile your responses and post A
HIT-> on the topic back to the entire LM_NET
Thanks!
