Hi. I need some help. I am the world't worst when it comes to poetry, and
the thought of doing anything concerning poetry with my students makes me
very nervous. I know there are poems that kids should hear and be familiar
with, but I don't know very many. Please let me know which ones are
important for kids grades K-3 to have heard. I have on my list so far, My
Shadow; Up, up, up in a swing;, Wynken, Blynken and Nod; and Owl and the
Pussycat. I do Mother Goose with the K's, so I have that covered, but don't
currently do any others. Thanks for you help.
