At one of my schools one of the teachers set class goals for points with AR
and when the class reached the goal they had a class party. That way all
the children participated in the rewards even if they had few or no points.
I thought it was a good idea to avoid leaving a child (children) out. You
could do this with any reading incentive program when you have control of
the rewards.
