Please help!
I am trying to figure out how to bring our school into copyright compliance.

Currently, we have a video reward system for good lunchroom behavior. After
a certain number of good days, a class gets to watch a 20min video. Teachers
also suggested having a reward system during our state wide test in April,
in which students could earn the priviledge of watching a movie at the end
of the week.
These uses for videos are NOT within copyright, and we are trying to fix
this. I am looking at purchasing a site license from Movie Licensing USA, I
have a few questions, though.

1. Are the rules the same for entertainment videos as well as educational
videos (such as Schlessinger)?
(I ask because the website for Movie Licensing USA kept referring to
"entertainment videos")
2. Movie Licensing USA states on their website that viewing over closed
circuit is NOT covered. Most, but not all, of our teachers have VCRs in
their rooms, but we often play videos over closed circuit. This won't be a
big problem for reward videos, but what about the instructional videos? If I
show it over closed-circuit does mean it does not count as face to face
instruction? (I realize the obvious answer is Yes, but some teachers don't
have VCRs and sometimes grade levels want to watch all at the same time.)

I have read my copy of Copyright for Schools, but still have these
questions.
Thanks!
