I'm down to "only" 225 books missing out of 12000. This is on top of about 400
others that are listed as missing from previous years. Besides swearing under your
breath about "kids these days" (my previous posts about being more patient this
year notwithstanding), at what point do you give up and figure there's nothing you
can do about it? With 680 kids in an elementary school, I'd have to figure I'd
lose a few over the course of the year, right?
On a humorous (kinda) sidenote, one of the stolen books was my only copy of Higher
Power of Lucky. It's surprising because everyone I tried to get to read it refused
or gave up after a chapter or two; only my local klepto wanted it!
