I went to a Chicago Public School job fair. There were over 40 schools
listed as having a need for a librarian. I gave them all a resume. I
have a Master's Degree in library Science and the proper certification
to be a school librarian. I can't believe that out of all those
resumes I handed out, I only got one call for an interview. I was so
optimistic when I saw so many schools with vacancies, but now I am
very despondent. With so many vacancies, why didn't I get more calls
than one? I just don't understand it. Something smells fishy here.
