Good Morning everyone,
Up here in Upstate NY the students last day is June 21 and teachers is June
22. Teachers start the Tuesday after Labor Day and students, Wednesday (and in some
districts Thursday). I just wondered if the 180 day requirement was country-wide? I
figured some of the discrepancies had to do with our snow days and extra winter
breaks. We usually get long breaks between Christmas and New Years; a week off in
February and a week for Spring break. I've never taught anywhere but NY and know
about Mass. and Florida school schedules but wondered about the rest of
you.....Hope everyone has an enjoyable summer! Regards, Mary
