I recently talked to the Michigan sales representative for this
product. She is new and had a difficult time finding my past
subscription information. Anyway, during our discussion she indicated
that there would be a 7% increase this year. She said this was a
standard increase that is made every year. After I got off the phone, I
checked my past purchase orders. I've been paying the same price since
the 2002-2003 school year. I called her back and she said that this
year they are suppose to tack on some sort of percentage increase.
Anywhere between 4-7% depending on the individual school's budget. As
if any of our budgets can handle increases! She resent me a product
order form with pricing for a 4% increase. Since I've been paying the
same price for the past 7 years, I'm not very excited about this
increase. I'm also questioning the legitimacy of this increase. If you
subscribe to this database, did your pricing go up this year? Has it
gone up in past years?
