Hello,
I am preparing to meet with art teachers and literacy teachers to talk about
collaboratively designing a curriculum pilot. I'd love to hear from anyone
who has worked with teachers who teach graphic novels-- either English
teachers, Literacy teachers, or any others. We work in NYC and teach students
ranging in age and ability from eleven to seventeen, so anything appropriate for
any
of these ages is welcome. I'll be puchasing a few class sets and than
additional single copies for the library.
Please e-mail me off list with title suggestions, class set suggestions, and
any other advice or experiences you'd like to share at
literacyforteens@aol.com.
Thanks!
