I just finished my first year in a brand new elementary library. My school is
called Valley Ranch Elementary and I am decorating a very large, new, bare library
in a western theme. I need some help with ideas that aren't expensive. I have
purchased some large metal "rustic" stars and they are on the HUGE back wall. I
found some cute baby cowboy boots at a garage sale that use as vases. My husband
built a low "corral" fence that I use in the story time area. There are rows of
windows on two sides of the library that I was thinking of making valances for
(gingham or cowhide print fabric), but I would need probably need at least 10 yards
of fabric...estimate $4.00 a yard and that adds up. What else could I use in a
western/cowboy theme that will not drain my bank account?
