[LM_NET] laptop stand

Dear Friends,
 I would like to use my laptop while sitting on my couch... what do you
recommend for a stand.  The TV tray I have is not ideal and the pillow I was
using before that slips too much. I don't want to spend a great deal of money
so I am looking for options you have discovered work versus a purchased "laptop
stand"... does that make sense??
