My band teacher before school got out asked if there was a way that she could
catalog her sheet music, instruments, etc. so that she could keep better control on
it. I told her, "Yes". She could use my Catalog Plus, but that I wasn't willing to
do the actual cataloging. I told her that if IT would install a copy of the
program on her computer, I would show her how. I went "googling" and discovered
the MARC information that we need for sheet music, but now I am wondering what
should be included for the musical instruments. I know that they are considered
three-dimensional artifacts and there are certain things that she wants to include
such as condition of the item. Has anyone done this before or something like it?
Any assistance would be appreciated. TIA
