Tried to send this directly to Judy but my email was rejected so hopefully this

  The girls at my school who like Dessen also like Sonya Sones ( What My 
Mother Doesn't Know) etc., Joyce Carol Oates, Meg Cabot ( not so much 
the Princess books but the Mediator Books and the other titles that she 
has out. They are also big into Nicholas Sparks, Sisterhood of the 
Traveling Pants, 13 Little Blue Envelopes, Scott Westerfeld , Laurie Halse 
Anderson- Speak, Prom, Catlyst, "I'd Tell You I Love you but then I'd 
have to kill you" Nancy Werlin's books and books by Ellen Wittlinger are 
also very popular. I also can't keep any of the Simon Pulse teen 
romances on the shelf. 
   
  I'm reading a series by Christopher Golden called the Body of 
Evidence series. They are about a college freshman named Jenna Blake who works 
as a diener for a medical examiner and gets involved in murder 
mysteries. Good summer reads. A little romance and some outlooks on life of 18 
yr old page turners for sure . ( Golden co wrote Buffy the Vampire 
Slayer books.)
