You all are reminding me of the time my principal was trying to get
a literacy program grant. She had to get a certain percentage of her
staff to sign up for training that summer. she came to me, saying
"They want the librarian to sign..." The tone of voice was
unmistakable - "What does a librarian have to do with literacy??"
