Our district has decided not to purchase the new computers this spring and summer
with Vista and the new Office, instead to keep XP and Office 2003 for another year.
This is my library's year to replace all 59 computers, which will then not be
replaced for another 5-6 years. I hate the thought of starting out that road
already obsolete. To upgrade later will cost probably over $100 a machine-$6,000
or more. I can't see that money being made available. What is your district doing
about Vista?
