[LM_NET] ELEM: picture book autobiography

Thank you to everyone who suggested Tomie dePaola.  All are good, but 
the teacher said that lots of teachers and students know about these 
and she wants to find one that is less well known.  So anyone except 
Tomie.  By the way, I recommend a video, Oliver Button is a Star, 
that features Tomie dePaola reading Oliver Button is a Sissy.

A summary: Tomie dePaola's classic children's book "Oliver Button is 
a Sissy" is retold in this innovative program on gender stereotypes 
and bullying. This delightful and colorful program braids animation, 
classroom footage, music, performance, traditional storytelling and 
home movies with childhood memories from dePaola, arctic explorer Ann 
Bancroft, makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin and dancer Bill T. Jones. A MUST 
use for educators who are concerned about a safe environment for 
their students.
