[LM_NET] Cherokee Elem. History Series from Library Video Co.

This is just an FYI and a heads up about a series of video I recently purchased 
from Library Video Company.  The two specific ones I received are:
 
1)  Native American Lifestyles (1500-1820)...Cherokee
2)  The Cherokee Trail of Tears
 
Both of these are produced by Chief Productions.  
 
I previewed "Native American Lifestyles" and while I wouldn't say it was state of 
the art production skills, I felt at first I might still be able to use things out 
of it.  However, I noticed several items mentioned that I felt were not true.  
While I'm not an expert on Cherokee history, I do have some knowledge.  I contacted 
an educator who works for the Cherokee Nation (Oklahoma) and asked her about this 
series.  She said they had had these in their gift shop, but they were pulled due 
to the same concerns.
 
I did not preview the "Trail of Tears" video, but I am returning both to Library 
Video Company.  I did not tell them the reason(s), but thought I would post a note 
on the list_serv for those interested.
