I wanted to share this just because I thought it was so interesting. I
just finished reading the Dean Koontz book Brother Odd (somehow I found
time to read an adult book!) and in it there is a monk who turned to
God because of reading Edward's story, it made him see the errors of
his ways (he was working for the Mafia at the time). It took me by
surprise to find Edward mentioned in such a book, not what I expected.
I was very excited however because I truly love this book. I found
this very interesting that Koontz knew of Kate DiCamillo and her works
and would take time to mention it in his book. You can tell by reading
the passage that he truly loves this book, as do I! At the end of
Brother Odd he makes reference to DiCamillo and her books and how much
he enjoys them. I just found that very interesting and wanted to
share.
