Today I had a Mom show me a book about a shark and said that she noticed
that all the shark books had the same number and shouldn't they all have
their own number.  I showed her the CIP information and said yes indeed
this shark had its own number but I cataloged my own books and chose to
have this whole series of shark books sit on the shelf together. ( the
better for kids to find them) I pointed out where I cut the number and
why. She said she was surprised that I was "allowed to do that."
